Nairobi - A coin toss will decide who comes out top of group A in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.
This is after Kenya and Ethiopia both finished with seven points and an identical goal average having both scored and conceded the same number of goals.
With the teams drawing 0-0 in their meeting in the group, they will have to be separated by a coin toss according to CECAFA secretary General Nichols Musonye.
" A coin toss will determine who finishes top of the group and that is acceptable within the tourney rules, he said.
" There was no better option than this.
The winners in this group
play the best loser 1 and the runners-up meet the leaders of Group ‘C’, which could mean the second placed finisher takes on champions Uganda Cranes in the last eight.
