Nairobi - Nairobi City Stars defender Mark Ongwae has not lost hope of his side
holding on to their Kenyan Premier League status this season.
City Stars need to collect maximum points to keep their survival
hopes alive, as they are currently five points away from the final
position of safety which is currently occupied by KCB.
hopeful that their rivals will drop points in their remaining matches,
while they have to beat already-relegated Top Fry AllStars and then
Mathare United in their last match.
"We still have a chance although it's a pipe dream," the defender admitted to Futaa. "We are five points adrift of KCB.

"If they lose their remaining two fixtures, and we win ours then we will pull another miraculous survival."
added: "People should not rule us out not just yet. We have been
unlucky in some instances and in some we have not been clinical enough.
"Had we taken our chances we would not be facing relegation, but that's football."
Stars, who are second from the bottom of the standings, narrowly
survived the drop last season as their 32 points were enough to secure
the 14th spot.
