CECAFA success tops GOtv Shield for Leopards striker Wafula

11 December 2013, 13:10

Nairobi - Noah Wafula will take CECAFA glory over domestic titles with club side AFC Leopards.

The striker has featured for the Harambee Stars in the ongoing CECAFA Challenge Cup tourney and played a few minutes of the 1-0 win over Tanzania in the semis on Tuesday.

And now with the national team in the final, Wafula says that he is looking forward to taking it on and hopes that they can win it at all costs.

" If I was asked to choose between CECAFA and the president's cup I would go for CECAFA, he said.

" It is something really big and I hope we can win it. It would be great for my career being so young.

" The final will be a very good opportunity to showcase our talents and I hope we can finish it off with a win, he added.

The Stars take on Sudan Thursday in the final at the Nyayo National Stadium.
