Nairobi - The Confederation of African Football have reportedly
slapped Kenya coach Adel Amrouche with a two-match suspension for his outburst
during a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
The tactician reacted furiously after Comoros had drawn
themselves level during the second leg of their first-round qualifying
encounter on May 30, verbally assaulting the match official before being sent
to the stands.
CAF are now believed to have made their ruling regarding
Amrouche's punishment, with the Harambee Stars boss set to miss his side's next
Kenya's 1-1 draw against Comoros was still enough for the
east Africans to progress to the next round, having won the reverse fixture
1-0, but they will now come up against Lesotho in the second round of AFCON qualifying
without their mentor behind the reins.
