14 July 2014, 13:06

Nairobi - Kenya National Football team Harambee Stars are scheduled to play an international friendly match against the Burundi Senior National team the Swallows on Tuesday at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The match will serve as part of preparations for the AFCON 2015 qualifier against Lesotho away from home on July 20 2014.

The 25 man  Swallows delegation  arrives in the country today aboard Rwandair and depart on Wednesday.

Burundi will field a strong squad which includes professionals playing their trade in the Tanzania and Ugandan leagues.

Stars are currently in residential training ahead of the African qualifier and this match gives Coach Adel Amrouche an opportunity to gauge the team before departure to Maseru.

Football Kenya Federation has in the mean time released the gate charges for the match as follows; VIP KES 500, Terraces KES 200.

FKF President Sam Nyamweya has made a call to all football fans to grace the match in large numbers.
