Burkina/Ethiopia friendly confirmed

Ouagadougou - The much anticipated International friendly between Burkina Faso and Ethiopia has been confirmed and will take place in the capital Ouagadougou on November 5.

Burkina Faso’s federation secretary general Bertrand Kabore confirmed this in a letter to the EFF secretary general Yigzaw Bizuayeh saying, "we are happy to confirm responsibility for the match. We will give you accommodation, food and local transport for 20 players and 5 officials," Kabore said in his letter dated October 29.

Ethiopia are scheduled to play Nigeria in the second leg World Cup qualifier play off on November 16 and must beat the African champions by a two goal margin to qualify for the World cup after losing the home leg 2-1earlier this month.
