Bryett sweats over Meja injury

26 February 2015, 11:53

Nairobi - Thika United head coach Tim Bryett has expressed concern with a long term injury suffered by defensive stalwart Sammy Meja who remains injured since last year.

He said Meja’s absence during their opening Kenya Premier League(KPL)tie against Tusker was a major obstacle that jeopardized their chances of carrying the day.

“There are some injuries I inherited from last year. Meja got injured last season and is yet to regain full fitness. There are also a couple more niggling injuries picked up in preseason but I hope the players will recover quickly so that they can offer their contribution to the team,” he said.
