British PM Cameron holds football racism talks
22 February 2012, 13:43
England - British Prime Minister David Cameron will meet with football chiefs and anti-racism campaigners later Wednesday to address the recent spate of racist incidents that have blighted the national game.
Cameron and Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt are to hold a "round table discussion" with football officials and players' representatives, according to a Downing Street statement.
"The government is committed to working with the football community as a whole to address and tackle issues of discrimination, recognising that great progress has been made, but also that there is more to be done across a range of issues," said the statement.
