'Blackberry' rejoins Gor Mahia

07 January 2014, 14:00

Nairobi - George 'Blackberry' Odhiambo once a darling of Gor Mahia has rejoined the Kenyan Premier League champions, club officials have announced.

The former KPL player of the year has returned to the club on a free transfer from Armenian top flight club Ulises where he failed to impress during his stay.

According to club boss George Bwana, Blackberry's return was a no- brainer.

" Blackberry is back at Gor Mahia, we are pleased to announce, he said.

" He was a free transfer and so the moment we heard about the potential deal, we jumped in straight away.

" We all know what he can produce and the fans love him here. We hope he can rediscover his form of yesteryears and give us something to smile about, he added.

Blackberry has already joined in on the club's training camp in Loitoktok.
