Bandari sink Gor Mahia

31 March 2014, 09:12

Mombasa - Bandari edged out champions Gor Mahia 2-1 in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played at Mombasa County Stadium on Sunday.

Victor Majid scored the winner 15 minutes from time to give the dockers their second win of the season and ease pressure on coach Twahir Muhiddin. For Gor, it continues their poor run of form with K’Ogalo now having gone four matches without a win.

The match started on a higher note with both sides hoping to pull the first trigger. Bandari’s Victor Majid fouled Haron Shakava as the latter attempted to clear a long ball in the third minute.
