Atwoli helps Leopards raise KES 2.8 million in fundraiser

Nairobi - COTU boss Francis Atwoli was one of the key contributors to AFC Leopards' plight to ensure they are adequately funded for their upcoming continental assignments.
Leopards raised KES 2.869,600 in last night’s Road to Africa fundraising held at the Laico Regency Hotel in Nairobi.
Among the notable contributors were Atwoli who contributed KES 500,000 and AFC Leopards National Executive Committee that contributed KES 1 million.
Others were Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula (KES 200,000 sent), AFC Patron Cyrus Jirongo (KES 200,000), FKF Chairman Sam Nyamweya (KES 150,000), Former DPM Musalia Mudavadi (KES 100,000 sent), AFC Trustee Hon Tim Wanyonyi (KES 100,000), Trustee Hon Chris Wamalwa (KES 100,000) and KPL/Gor Mahia Chairman Ambrose Rachier (KES 60,000) among others.
The money will be used to fund the CAF Confederation campaign which kicks off on Sunday with a clash versus Ethiopia's Defence at the Nyayo National Stadium.
