Arsenal move for Colombia keeper Ospina

Nairobi - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly close to completing a deal with Nice for Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina.
The shot stopper earned plenty of plaudits during the 2014 World Cup,
where his sensational displays between the sticks helped lead Los
Cafeteros to their first-ever quarter-final appearance, where they
eventually went down to hosts Brazil.
Wenger is now believed to have struck a £3million deal with Ligue 1
outfit Nice, who are thought to be open to a deal, with the keeper
having announced before the World Cup he will not be renewing his
contract, which expires in 2015.
The Gunners are currently in the market for a goalkeeper, having seen
Wojciech Szczesny's back-up and Polish compatriot Lukasz Fabianski
depart for Swansea City on a free transfer.
The north London giants have already successfully negotiated two
off-season signings, with striker Alexis Sanchez and right-back Mathieu
Debuchy having arrived from Barcelona and Newcastle respectively.
