Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars striker Kevin Amwayi has expressed his delight at winning two awards in the just concluded East Africa Military Games and steering his side to claim the regional title.
The former Western Stima utility player bagged the ‘Most Valuable Player Award’ and shared the top scorer award with his skipper Evans Amuoka. Speaking to the club’s official website, Amuoka dedicated the awards to his wife and the team.
“First I thank God for the two awards and I really feel happy to receive them. I want to dedicate them first of all to my beautiful wife, all our Ulinzi Stars fans, my teammates and the technical bench. I would not have done it without their support,” said Amwayi.
