Amrouche: Harambee Stars will gain from Brazil trip

25 June 2014, 15:59

Nairobi - Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche says that Stars will gain from the trip to Brazil to watch the World Cup.

The Stars left for Rio Wednesday morning to watch the clash between Ghana and Portugal set for Thursday.

They have been sponsored by president Uhuru Kenyatta so as to take inspiration from the showpiece event and Amrouche says that the trip is well in order.

" It will build players mentally, he said.

" At times what matters is to dare to dream and I do not think we do enough of that here in Kenya. We need to give the players that feeling.

" I am sure they will learn and I too will learn and be motivated to help the team get better, he added.

The Stars are in qualifying for the 2015 AFCON in Morocco of which they are in the second round of qualification.
