All square in Nairobi derby

28 July 2014, 11:43

Nairobi - AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Kenyan Premier League action at the Nyayo National Stadium Sunday.

The two sides both went for the jugular in the game and it proved a satisfying day out for both sets of fans and neutrals alike.

Noah Wafula and Martin Imbalambala scored the goals for Leopards with Danny Sserunkuma coming up with the goods for Gor.

" It was a good game that no one deserved to lose, Imbalambala said after the game.

" We played well but Leopards also had a point to prove and they did it, Sserunkuma admitted after the result.

The point for each means that they still remain 15 points apart and means that it is likely Leopards will not catch-up with Gor as there are 11 games left to play.
