Nairobi - AFC Leopards winger Paul Were has signed for South African top flight side Amazulu.
The winger has been down south on several occasions for trials at different outfits but it has now been confirmed that he has signed a three year deal at the PSL side.
" Were has signed for Amazulu, his agent Basil Manousakis said.
" It is a three year deal. I am extremely happy for him and wish him all the very best there, he added.
Were had fallen out at Leopards with new head coach Henrik Pieter de Jongh but the Dutch coach was understandably happy for the player.
" I am happy for him because he has moved to a good league. Congratulations, he said.
Were is the second player from the country to move to South Africa in recent weeks, following in the footsteps of ex Gor Mahia man Kevin Omondi who has signed for Moroka Swallows.
