Nairobi - AFC Leopards will take on Ethiopia's Defence in the last eight of the ongoing CECAFA Nile Basin Tourney in Sudan.
The two sides met earlier in the season in CAF Confederations Cup action with Leopards coming out on top in the two legged affair.
They will be expected to continue the same way when they take them on Friday in Khartoum.
Leopards completed the group stages with a 1-0 win over Burundi's Tchite Wednesday night, Bernard Mang'oli scoring the only goal of the game.
It meant they finished the group stages with an 100% record and are favourites to win the competition outright.
" We are looking good and the performance is great to see. I am happy that we are in a good place and hope for the absolute best, head coach Henrick Pieters De Jong said.
Sudan's Al Mereikh will face Tchite in the second quarter-final, SC Victoria of Uganda will take on Mbeya City of Tanzania in the third quarterfinal, with Sudan's Al Shandi and South Sudan's Al Malakia facing off in the final quarter-final.
