AFC Leopards players have been paid their dues

Nairobi - AFC Leopards have denied rumours that their players have not been paid ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup clash with Supersport United.
" AFC Leopards hereby calls upon its supporters and members to avoid side
shows on non issues and rally behind the club as the team prepares to
face-off with visiting SuperSport United FC on Sunday at Nyayo Stadium.
" The club is privy to a deliberate scheme orchestrated by a few enemies
of the club to cause disquiet in the playing unit and would urge
stakeholders not to be hoodwinked by the prophets of doom hell bent to
destabilize the club.
" The club would for example want to make it clear
that players’ salaries hit their bank accounts by yesterday Thursday
1.30 pm, four days earlier than the 10th deadline. And to
motivate the players, all their training allowances for the week until
Sunday were paid to them in advance by Tuesday this week.
" It would
therefore mean that any unfounded rumors doing rounds in social media
and some radio station about delayed payment of player salaries is
Leopards take on Supersport Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium where they will seek to overturn a 2-0 deficit with victory.
