AFC Leopards lead the race for Charity Cup slot

Nairobi - AFC Leopards lead the way in terms of votes cast for a place in the Kenya Power Charity Cup, according to organizers.
Leopards took an early lead in the vote count for the second edition of the Cup and will hope their fans see them through after missing out in 2013.
According to the early results, Gor Mahia come second while Sofapaka, Thika United and Mathare United are in the top five, with Tusker , KRA and third tier Shabana are sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
The top 4 teams which will participate in the competition will be announced on January 22, 2013, with the competition taking place at the Nyayo National Stadium on February 2, 2013.
Voting is done by texting the name of the respective club to 30300.
