8 weeks out for Ulinzi defender

12 May 2014, 12:58

Nairobi - Ulinzi Stars have been handed a huge blow with the news that defender Fredrick Chitai will miss at least 8 weeks.

According to the club's official website, Chitai broke the lateral malleolus on his right leg in training on Friday 9 May.

" Chitai will be in a plaster for the next five weeks and thereafter be on rehab for three weeks before he can begin light training.

" Shitote still has one week before he can begin training. He is the only one nearest to a return, team doctor, John Imboiywa, told the club's official portal.

Ulinzi are seventh in the Kenyan Premier League.
