3 yet to arrive for Harambee Stars camp

12 November 2015, 15:17

Nairobi - 3 players are yet to arrive for national team Harambee Stars camp, a day to the World Cup qualifier versus Cape Verde.

Brian Mandela, Ayub Timbe and Arnold Origi are yet to arrive in the country ahead of the crucial two legged tie which kicks off at the Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani.

The three have no tickets to arrive for the match, team manager Willis Waliaula has admitted.

" They are not yet here and we do not expect them soon because the government was to send the tickets for the match but has yet to and we have no means to have them here," he stated.

Cape Verde arrived in the country Wednesday and have set up camp at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Upper Hill Nairobi.

Kenya will be led by Captain Victor Wanyama who expects a good result.

" I expect us to fight hard and we are confident that we will do well," he stated.
