22 teams to take part in 2014 Super League

Nairobi - 22 teams will take part in the 2014 National Super League according to the Football Kenya Federation.
The league, which is effectively Kenyan football's second tier will have 20 teams from the four zones that made he division one in 2013.
The 20 consist of the top five in each of the zones in the 2013 season.
The other two will be made up of the Kakamega Homeboyz and Karuturi Sport who were relegated from the Kenyan Premier League in 2013.
" Next year's Football Kenya Federation (FKF) National Super League will bring together 22 teams who will play in a single league, with the top two at the end of the competition gaining automatic promotion to the 2015 Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
" The Division One league will have a total of 40 teams which will be divided in two zones of 20 teams each. Two teams from each province will also be promoted to the Division One league, a statement from the Football Kenya Federation read.
Top Fry AllStars and KRA have been promoted to the 2014 KPL.
