Tanui wants harsher punishment for doping

Nairobi - Two-time Boston Marathon winner Moses Tanui has urged Athletics Kenya to
treat athletes who are doping the same as how they would treat someone
committing a crime.
Tanui added that they need to act quickly before the situation becomes worse.
"Things are just going out of hand at the moment and it calls for speedy actions," Tanui told nation.co.ke. "Athletics Kenya has failed, so let the government take over.
"Doping is a crime like any other," he said. "It is a robbery, only that a gun is not used.
"If the government can introduce stern measures against perpetrators, Kenya will run clean."
