Nairobi - The Kenyan Volleyball Federation has pleaded with the government and the
National Olympic Committee-Kenya (Nock) to help them in their
preparations for the Africa Volleyball Olympics qualifiers in
Brazzaville, Congo, next month.
KVF Chairman Waithaka Kioni is said that they are in desperate need
of support as they have not had proper training before the qualifiers.
"I am kindly requesting Nock and the Sports ministry to come to the
aid of the team swiftly. Time is running out for us," Kioni told
"The men's team needs sponsors to stay in camp.
"We thank the Government which has always been aiding us in other
international qualifiers, but this is now urgent as the boys only have
less than three weeks to prepare from now."
