KRU Hosts Successful High-Performance Workshop

Nairobi - Friday 8 January 2016 saw Kenya Rugby conduct a milestone High-Performance Seminar in Nairobi. The seminar, facilitated by the organization's Chief Executive Officer Ronald Bukusi and former Kenya Sevens Head Coach Felix Ochieng, was attended by the management teams of the fifteens, sevens, women's and U19 national squads as well as Kenya Rugby Director of National Squads Oscar Mango.

Speaking after the workshop, Bukusi said, "We intend to develop this theme further and develop a workshop for clubs and various affiliates later on in the year. In 2016, we want to renew focus on the development of coaches, match officials, managers and develop clear pathways for them to grow in their chosen fields."

Ochieng, in his remarks, said, “This workshop is about us brainstorming, my role is to facilitate and inspire direction in terms of where we are going,what are our values as a union and how we can work on those values.”
