Kenya's Koech and Onyangi win Stockholm Marathon

Nairobi - Stanley Koech set a new course record en route to winning the Stockholm
Marathon ahead of his compatriot Daniel Limo while Jane Onyangi won the
The top-five finishers in the men's event were all from Kenya with
Koech crossing the finishing line in the Stockholm Stadium in 2:10.58,
which was 40s quicker than the previous record that was set in 1983.
"I am very happy to have won," Koech told TV4 shortly after being confirmed the winner.
He was followed Limo (2:12.00), Benjamin Bitok (2:14.01), Samuel
Kalalei (2:14.46) and Benjamin Kiptoo (02:15.04) with Mustafa Mohamed
from Sweden the first non-Kenyan home in 2:20.01.
Onyangi won the women's race in 02:31.46 before a strong Swedish contingent, led by Isabellah Andersson, crossed the line.
Andersson was more than four minutes behind Onyangi and she was
followed by compatriots Charlotte Karlsson, Hanna Lindholm and Asa
