Kenya Sevens ready for Rio

Nairobi - They have done the hard work in training and now it is up to the Kenya Sevens players to replicate that at the Rio Olympics, according captain Andrew Amonde.
The East African country will kick off their campaign against Great Britain on August 9 before they take on the mighty New Zealand later in the day and finish the pool phase against Japan a day later.
Although they are in a difficult pool, Kenya proved during this season's IRB World Rugby Sevens Series that they can mix it with the big boys as they won their maiden Cup at the Singapore Sevens.
Amonde feels they should draw on that.
"We cannot talk about the quality of the opponents now as we need to do our part as Kenyans and that is turning up in the first two matches and play our rugby like we did mainly in the Singapore IRB leg, which we won," he is quoted as saying by Standardmedia.co.ke.
He added: "Our training had gone on well from the time we were at Nandi Bears and also since we came here and I hope that come the day of the competition we will turn up in good shape like we have always done in training."
