Zetech college too strong for Pandas

10 July 2014, 22:31

Nairobi - Zetech College, Thika Campus, secured a 48-43 league victory over Pandas in a Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) league match at the Railway Club.

Kelvin Wisoh was the talisman for Zetech as he pushed his team ahead by 11 points while 21 points were scored for the Pandas by Paul Luvandea.

Meanwhile Upper Hill School had a mixed bag as they beat Lycans 51-47 with the help of Faustine Ombogo who contributed 24 points in the game.

Lycans looked helpless on court after they were reduced to three men while the rest were sent off for infringements.

Upper Hill School still failed to survive in the hands of visiting Machakos Hawks who won 49-47.

Mount Kenya University ( MKU) were far too good for Feba who lost 70-41.

John Ribia shot 15 and Brian Ndigiro 13 for the winners while Fred Nyagah added seven points for his side.

NBA also released statistics for the new season and the leading teams in three pointers in the men's category are Emyba (48 three pointers) Zetech College, Thika campus (46), Daystar University (45) and Old Pirates (44).

Jkuat, Juja Campus leads in the ladies category with 24 three-pointers.
