Strong field expected for Safari Sevens

Nairobi - Fans can expect a strong host of teams at the 20th edition of the Safari Sevens set for 3 - 4 October at the Safaricom Stadium in Nairobi.

Apart from Kenya’s two national sides, Shujaa and Morans, quality competition from across the globe will be at Kasarani for Africa’s premier sevens rugby event.

Sevens World Series core side Portugal, will be at Kasarani in their quest for the Robin Cahill trophy.
England Saxons, the England Sevens Development squad are also expected to make their debut at the tournament.

Kenya's African rivals Zimbabwe, Namibia and Uganda as well as European national sides Italy and Spain and Rio 2016 Olympic hosts Brazil.

The 20th edition of the Safari Sevens will be aired live on regional pay TV service provider Zuku through their Zuku Sports Channels. The tournament takes place on 3rdand 4th October 2015 at the Safaricom Stadium in Kasarani.

The tournament will also be streamed live on the internet on http://zuku.co.ke/live
