Simiyu happy with K'Opondo return

Nairobi - Wilson K'Opondo has finally returned to training with the Kenyan
national rugby team after a spell on the side lines due to academic
The fact that the former Simba’s captain has returned to training
means that he has put himself in contention for the match against
Tunisia on Sunday for the Africa Rugby Division 1A match.
Team manager, Wangila Simiyu, has said that the return of K'Opondo will uplift the changing room and add depth to the team.
"We are glad K’Opondo (Wilson) is back in training and ready for selection when the team is named on Thursday," Simiyu told nation.co.ke.
"Morale is high in the team and there is good pressure ahead of selection with the return of many key players," said Wangila.
Coming off a defeat against Zimbabwe, the team manager of the Kenya Simbas will be looking to bounce back.
"We want to beat Tunisia by a big margin considering that we lost to
Zimbabwe while Namibia beat Tunisia 22-14 in the opener," he admitted.
