London - An Australian rugby player who bit an opponent’s penis during a match earlier this month has been slapped with an eight-game suspension.
Anthony Watts of the Tugun Seahawks was found guilty of contrary conduct in a league hearing on Tuesday, the Guardian reports.
League officials imposed the band on Watts after reviewing footage clearly showing the opposing player writhing in pain after making contact with Watts.
