New faces in Kenya Sevens squad for Dubai

Nairobi - Kenya sevens rugby head coach Paul Treu named a number of new faces in the squad that will take place in the IRB sevens circuit in Dubai over the weekend.

Homeboyz duo Leonard Mugaisi and Humphrey Mulama have been handed their maiden call ups as head coach Paul Treu named the side.

The pacy Mugaisi was the Most Valuable Player during the 2013 Safaricom Sevens Series, Kenya's local sevens circuit while Mulama, 19, has broken through the ranks from Kakamega High School, holding down a backrow position at his club side and featuring for the Kenya U-19 side that lost to Namibia in the final of the Africa U-19 Championships last August. Speaking after naming the team.

Andrew Amonde captains the side, which features experienced players in Collins Injera, Patrice Agunda, Horace Otieno and Biko Adema, but Oscar Ouma and Billy Odhiambo sit out the tournament due to other commitments.
