Nakuru's Were handed two week ban

Nairobi - Top Fry Nakuru RFC hooker Coleman Were has been given a two week ban
for punching an opponent.
Were was given his marching orders in Nakuru’s
Impala Floodlit quarter final against Homeboyz RFC last weekend.
Assistant Referee Alan Khakame referred the 71st minute matter, and
recommendation, to Referee Constant Cap.

Judicial Officer Richard Omwela hearing the disciplinary case at
Impala Club, on Wednesday morning, handed the sanction according to IRB
Were will therefore miss Nakuru’s semi final this weekend
against KCB. He will be eligible to play after October 25, in time for
the start of the Kenya Cup league.
