Nairobi prepares for Safari Sevens as nations flock in

Nairobi - The international teams that are slated to take part in the Safari Sevens in Nairobi are Zimbabwe, Uganda, England Saxons, Spain, Portugal, Brazil Italy and Argentina.

The Kenya Rugby Union confirmed their participation in a statement as they all look forward to the 20th edition of the tournament in the beginning of October.

"Sevens World Series core team Argentina is among a host of teams that have confirmed their participation at the 20th edition of the Safari Sevens set for October 2-4 at the Safaricom Stadium in Nairobi," the statement read.

"Another core side, Portugal, will also be at Kasarani in their quest for the Robin Cahill trophy while other sides of note that have confirmed participation include Kenya's African rivals Zimbabwe and Uganda as well as European national sides Italy and Spain and Rio 2016 Olympic hosts Brazil."
