Kenyan teams eye bronze in continental showpiece

22 November 2013, 11:14

Nairobi - Third /Fourth place classification will be the agenda as the African Hockey championships move into day five at the City Park Stadium in Nairobi.

After the dissapointment of not making the final, Kenyan sides will hope to finish the tourney on a high by securing important wins against opponents they have already beaten.

In the men's category, Kenya will take on Ghana as they both seek the bronze medal but with the Kenyans having beaten their opponents in the group stages, they will fancy themselves for a win.

The Kenyan ladies team will face off with Tanzania and having beaten them 13-1 in their group meeting, they will be straightforward favourites for the win.

Kick off times

Kenya V Tanzania (W) 1300

Ghana V Kenya (M) 1530
