Kenyan marathoners dominate in China

Nairobi - Kenyan athletes won both men's and women's top
titles at the Kinmen Marathon held on Sunday in Taiwan's outlying
More than 3,200 runners participated in the Kinmen Marathon. Samson
Kiptoo Bungei from Kenya claimed men's title with 2 hours, 17 minutes
and 44 seconds,and Emily Chepkemoi Samoei won in the women's division by
finishing the race in 2 hours, 39 minutes and 10 seconds.
Local runner Ho Chin-wen secured the third place in the men's full
marathon, clocking 2 hours, 34 minutes and 28 seconds. Kinmen Marathon,
now in its seventh year, includes the 42 km, 21 km and 11 km races, and a
non-competitive 5-km run.
