Kenya thrashed in African rugby champs

Nairobi - Kenya missed out on qualifying for the annual IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy after losing in the final of the Confederation of African Under-19 Championships on in Windhoek Sunday.
Namibia thrashed Kenya to win the title for a consecutive year and qualify for the Junior World Rugby Trophy just over a month after their senior side qualified for the World Cup.
The hosts dominated from the first whistle and scored the first of eight tries just two minutes into the match.

Namibia scored a total of 35 points in the first half to take a commanding lead into half time as Kenya could only reply with two unconverted tries.
Kenya added another converted try to their score in the second half but couldn’t match Namibia and lost 52-17.
The IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy will take place in Portugal next year.
