Kenya sevens rugby team supplements set for tests

Nairobi - The Kenya Rugby Union says supplements given to its national team players will be sent to Qatar to be tested after doping investigators alleged they contained steroids.
The KRU also criticized the investigators, who said that coaching staff members from Kenya's sevens and 15-a-side teams should face disciplinary hearings for providing the supplements to players.
The findings were by a task force set up by Kenya's government to look at doping in sports, especially among the country's distance runners. Part of the task force's report implicated the national rugby teams.
But the KRU says it and the Kenyan government believe that the tests carried out by the task force that found steroids were "not credible." The KRU says the supplements will now be properly tested in Qatar.
