Nairobi - The Kenyan Rugby Sevens team has been handed a tough draw for the Hong Kong Sevens event next month.
They have been drawn in Pool D, alongside England, USA and Wales.
Kenya takes on USA in their opener, who has already beaten then twice recently, in Dubai and Port Elizabeth.
Shujaa will then take on England, before facing Wales in their final match.
Kenya lost to England in Dubai and Las Vegas, and tasted defeat to Wales in PE in December last year.
"The boys have done themselves proud by picking up 18 points in two
legs. We are slowly coming back to the form we displayed last year but I
will be expecting the team to do better in the remaining four legs of
the circuit," head coach Felix Ochieng Ochieng said after last week’s
event in Las Vegas.
"They have been going through rehabilitation and they should be fit
and ready for the next two legs next month," he said of Kayange,
Augustine Lugonzo, Biko Adema and Max Theuri’s chances of being
available in Hong Kong.
