Kenya improve in Glasgow sevens but work still to be done

Nairobi - Kenya made the plate finals of the Glasgow sevens in an improved display even though there is still work to be done.
Kenya managed a houdini act, recovering from two defeats, 19-24 to
Wales and 17-24 to Fiji by beating Argentina 33-19 to finish second in
Pool C and make the main cup quarter finals at the Glasgow Sevens in
Mike Wanjala would convert Humphrey Kayange's try in the opening
stages,also converting Billy Odhiambo and Collins injera's efforts to
see Kenya 21-0 up against the Argentines before Gaston Revol converted
Joachin Cachi Paz' effort for a 21-7 half time score.
Wanjala converted Kayange's effort after the break, Kenya now 28-7 up
before Franco Sabato landed for 28-12. Billy Odhiambo put Kenya 33-12
up but Argentina scored a lated consolation through Nicolas Coronel,
full time score Kenya 33 Argentina 19.
They lost to Canada in the Cup quarter-finals before beating South Africa in the Plate semi-finals and losing to England in the Plate finals.
