Kenya faces Cook Islands in opening commonwealth games clash

Nairobi - Kenya will open their 2014 Commonwealth Games rugby sevens campaign with
a Pool B fixture against the Cook Islands on Saturday 26 July in
They will follow this up with a match
against Trinidad and Tobago before winding up with a clash against
continental rivals South Africa. The top two sides from this and the
three other pools will qualify for the main cup quarters on Sunday 27
July in the quest for the gold medal.
Rugby sevens was introduced to the Club
games in 1998 and has featured in all subsequent events and Kenya will
look to improve on previous showings as they seek to become the
