Kenya continues to dominate volleyball tournament

Nairobi - Hosts Kenya are confident the support of fans will spur the team to victory in the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations competition.
The tournament resumes on Wednesday after a one-day break, with the in-form Kenyans fixtured to play Cameroon later in the day.
The match will be played at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
The team has been impressive.
It recorded a convincing 3-0 win (25-19, 25-15, and 25-13) to stay put at the top position.
Their stunning victory against the Algerian side, which had beforehand, thrashed them in the final qualifiers prior to the 2012 London Olympics, put them in a better place to retain the cup.
Kenya has won all the sets having trampled Senegal and Egypt by similar margins of (3-0) in the previous fixtures.
“We thank God for the continued victory and we appreciate that the fans are also coming out in large numbers to support us,” the team's attacker, Evelyn Makuto, said ahead of the match against Cameroon.
The competition kicked off last Friday, attracting women volleyball teams from nine countries across the continent.
