During the announcement of the national team by coach Paul Treu, Felix Ochieng was named as team manager in Sewe’s absence, while Vuyo Zzanga was confirmed as Treu’s assistant.

The Kenyan team will undergo a short training session in South Africa this week before flying to Australia on Monday for next week’s Gold Coast Sevens.
