Kenya Cup semi-finalists confirmed

25 February 2014, 10:42

Nairobi - The die is cast for the Kenya Cup semis on Saturday 10 May 2014 following the completion of the competition's league phase. Defending champions Top Fry Nakuru finished top of the standings with 59 points after winning twelve and losing one of their thirteen outings.

This secured them home ground advantage when they meet fourth placed Strathmore Leos whom they incidentally defeated 24-11 in their final fixture at the Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday 22 February.

Former champions Lunch Bar Quins posted a 112-0 demolition job away to Kisumu RFC,  accumulating 53 points, same as third placed KCB but beating the bankers courtesy of a superior try count. They also secured home ground advantage for their final against the bankers.

There were also wins for KCB, Impala, Nondies, Mwamba and Homeboyz on the final day of the regular season.
