Nairobi - Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) is confident of winning the Kenya Cup League
even though their unbeaten record came to an end on Saturday.
KCB have been on a fine run of form so far this season but lost to
defending champions Top Fry Nakuru RFC 23-20 in an eagerly contested tie
at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Despite the defeat, coach Curtis Olago is confident that his side
will bounce back and respond to the defeat by winning the Cup League.
"My boys played their hearts out and followed the instructions well.
However, we could have turned tables had the referee not penalised my
players for obvious mistakes committed by our opponents," Olago told Feverpitch.
Nevertheless, Top Fry Nakuru RFC tactician Dominique Habimana is also
confident that his side will be able to win the competition for a third
"We are taking one match at a time. But we are sure of retaining the
cup and would employ different strategies in our next matches," Habimana
