Indiza in a share of KCB Golf Tour lead

Nairobi - Dismas Indiza claimed a share of the lead at the halfway mark of the KCB Golf Tour's which is underway at the Royal Nairobi Golf Club.

The Mumias Sugar Golf Club professional, who is renowned for his long drives, carded another two-under par-70 to go four under for the tournament.

Indiza had four birdies to show for his efforts on the front nine, but also carded three bogeys before making a double-bogey at the par four 12th.

He finished his round with birdies on the 13th, 14th and 15th.

"The greens were a bit better today compared to the first round, though I made some few bad putts'' said Indiza.

Nyanza Golf Club's David Odhiambo who the other player on four-under and his round included three birdies and a single bogey.

Vet Lab's Brian Njoroge was just a shot off the pace also after firing one under par 71.

He birdied twice at the out ward nine and a similar number of birdies at the back nine where dropped shots at the 11th and 16th.

The top 20 players who made the seven over par second round cut will begin the real chase for the top prize of Sh192, 000 in the one million shillings event.
