Kenya 15's crave statement win

Nairobi - Kenya Rugby 15 a side player Duncan Ekasi is eyeing a
statement win over Zimbabwe as they open their 2013 Tri- Nations account.
The second clash of the series that pits hosts Namibia,
Zimbabwe and African champions Kenya, takes place Tuesday at the Hage Geignob
Stadium in Windhoek where the two sides know the value of a win.
Kenya will be hoping to continue with their good recent form
versus the Zimbabweans with victory, while after losing the first match of the
tourney 35-26 to Namibia on Friday, the Zimbabweans know it is win or bust.
According to Ekasi, the match is an opportunity to continue
the good form they have had in the recent past against the Zimbabweans and to
make a statement with the World Cup qualifiers looming.
“We want to do well in the match and series as a whole
because it would make a statement as to where we are as a team. It will be tough
as Zimbabwe showed in the final of the African championships but we should be
good to go, he said.
Kenya beat Zimbabwe 29-17 in Madagascar in June to lift the
African title and they will be hoping to add another win tonight, kick-off 2030
East African time.
