Djokovic still the tennis king

25 October 2011, 10:52

Berlin - Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead an unchanged top 10 in the men's tennis rankings.

With most of the top players not participating in a tournament last week, Djokovic continues to hold a convincing 3 485-point lead over Spain's Rafael Nadal in the rankings released Monday by the governing body.

Roger Federer, who last week went tumbling out of the top three for the first time in eight years, lost a little more ground as his points tally decreased to 7 530, but he still holds on to the fourth spot with a 2 820-point lead over Spain's David Ferrer.

Meanwhile, South Africa's top ranked tennis player, Kevin Anderson, slipped down another spot to number 32 after his quarter-final exit at the Stockholm Open at the hands of the tournament's eventual winner, Gael Monfils.

ATP top 10 as of October 24 (previous ranking in parenthesis):
