Commonwealth team warned against doping

Scotland - Kenya's Commonwealth Games squad that will represent the nation in
Glasgow, Scotland, have been asked to abstain from using banned substances.
The first of the 291-strong squad will leave for the Queen’s Games
on Sunday ahead of the opening ceremony on July 22.
Stephen Soi, the team's chief de mission, warned athletes against
doping or using performance-enhancing substances, saying they should be careful
even during the games.
“Be careful never take food, drinks or gifts other than what is
provided for all the athletes. You might be tricked into taking banned
substances,” Soi said at the Safaricom Stadium Kasarani during the team
national flag presentation ceremony.
Soi, who is the National Judo Cordinating Board Chairman, said
Team Kenya were ready for the Glasgow showdown.
