Benson takes Kenya Open, Indiza stars for Kenya

Nairobi - England’s Seve Benson claimed the third
Challenge Tour title of his career after he saw off Denmark’s Lasse Jensen in a
play-off for the Barclays Kenya Open on Sunday.
Dismas Indiza was the highest placed Kenyan, delighting the
huge home crowds – which included president, Mwai Kibaki – with a one under par
70 to finish tied 22nd Muthaiga Golf Club.
Brian Njoroge who fired a two over 73 on the final day was
the second home golfer who also tied for 22nd overall as he celebrated making
the cut at the country’s premier event for the first time.
